GLOBAL GOVERNANCE VS SINGLE STATEHOOD

Deven: - Nowadays, we can hear the economic analysts shouting that India will emerge as a super-power within 2020. But, no one can clearly say, why and how will India become a superpower? Look at the World economy. Is it a multi-polar economy or a bipolar economy?

Kushwant: - Still today, the entire Global economy is very much dependant on the US economy. If US economy is down, then the entire world economy is at stake. Why is the other countries dependant on USA? Can’t they come out of the US tentacles?

Nayantara: - Yeah, many countries tried to, but as a net result, Saddam Hussain has been hanged to death. Nagasaki & Hiroshima bombing took place. Taliban group were formed to break USSR. And now, if India, Iran and North Korea tries to come out of the US tentacles, then who knows that USA may declare the 3rd World War with its allies Pakistan and China.

Pankaj: - We should go for the Global Governance. A governing body should be formed, which will control and resolve the disputes of the world. This governing body will streamline the development throughout the world, at a same pace. That is the rich nations will not become richer and the poor nations will not become poor. A kind of equilibrium will be maintained. To some extent, the theory of planned communism needs to be formulated.

Kushwant: - What role is UNO playing then? It is also a governing body which performs Global Governance? But, at the end of the day, UNO is just a puppet in the hands of US administration. So, directly, it guarantees the capitalist theory, where Rich nations will become so much richer that there will be a vacuum created in the economy. As a net result, the developing countries will fight among themselves to grab the opportunity to secure the 2nd powerful rank, but not the first one. That means the Emperor is motivating the Kings to fight among themselves, so that his throne remains safe. This is known as Divide and Rule policy. Let there be small wars in the countries like Israel, Palestine, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iran, India, China, North Korea, South Korea and other African, European and South American countries. The more they will fight, the more their economy will be weakened and then they will either beg for money from USA or invest money in the Gilt-Edged Securities of USA. In both the cases, US economy is gaining.

Nayantara: - If the US economy is gaining in both ways, then why they don’t have strict financial planning to hold that money inside their economy only. USA will suck the money of other developing countries and their bloody people will just waste that money. As a net result, their credit policy fails to collect the money back to their banks and ultimately the economy of developing countries suffers badly. Despite having a strong domestic market, Japanese and German economy also suffers, because of the recession in USA. Why it should happen? We badly need to come out of the traps of USA. We need a world, where USA administration will have no rights to interfere in the internal affairs or economy of any other country, unless asked to do so.

Deven: - Single Statehood is the keyword here, not the Global Governance. We want single statehood in our planet. Single statehood does not mean decentralization, but the government will be one and only one and the central authority. In India, there is a central government, but there are also state and union territory governments. Thus, India has single governance but not the single statehood.

Arindam: - Wow, I was just listening to the debate. I think, we have found out a solution. Scrap the UNO and form a Global Government Headquarter in Antarctica, with representatives of all the countries. No country can apply the law of weighted average on any decision of that governing body. If you want to come out of the prison of USA, then Single Statehood is the need of the hour.
